Ready Player One is a 2018 Science Fiction Action Adventure film.
Ready Player One Stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts. The film was released in the Philippines last March 31, 2018.
With a budget of 175 million USD and produce by Warner Bros, Amblin Entertainment, Amblin Partners, Village Roadshow Pictures, Dune Entertainment.
Directed by Steven Spielberg.
Ready Player One is set in the year of 2045, wherein online gaming has become the major factor of everyone human lives.
Their entire daily activities and even their source of income involves the game called the OASIS.
The OASISĀ is a massive virtual reality universe by James Halliday (Mark Rylance).

Players creates their own avatars and if they die in the game they lost all of their entire fortune. I bet the game has a way of exchanging monetary game value to real money because there are players who gone crazy after losing to a fight.
Re-spawn is available but you start from scratch.
Ready Player One is a huge nostalgia for me, as it talks about different aspects of games and movies. from Star Wars to Marios and Attari.
The players of the game has one major quest to complete, earning the 3 keys that will unlock the Digital Easter Egg.
To find the Digital Easter Egg, one must complete three different challenges set by the game creator Halliday.

The prize for winning the Digital Easter Egg wins a major fortune, owning the rights of the entire game it self.
IOI – Innovative Online Industries run by Nolan Sorrento(Ben Mendelsohn) seeks full control over OASIS.

Samantha Cook aka Art3mis in OASIS is the chick that rocks the world of Wade.
In reality, yes, there are girls who rocks and knows how to play online games. that’s why this movie brings back a lot of memories to me. I remember my old days playing Red Alert, Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction and Ragnarok.

Whats a game if there’s no battle or War to win. Wade calls into all the players of OASIS to attack and win the last key, Kinda likes the weekly War of Emperium in Ragnarok.
Wade and his friends tries to complete the challenges and bets on winning the Digital Easter Egg.

Over all I enjoyed watching the film and would give it a 5 star review.
